Brett Kern is a licensed Private Detective with the state of Pennsylvania. He brings over 15 years of security-related experience to his current role.


Brett has spent many years working as a security guard. During this time

he worked as a front desk concierge where he was responsible for monitoring CCTV camera systems of up to 24 cameras as well as implementing fire and life safety plans. He has worked as a retail loss prevention agent in high-end fashion boutiques, a guard for high-profile special events, and a security guard providing foot patrol at various sites throughout the city of Philadelphia (construction sites, parking lots/garages, warehouses, and different residential neighborhoods and communities). Brett has assisted both the police in ongoing investigations and the Philadelphia Fire Department during numerous drills and real-life emergencies. He possesses a strong working knowledge of standard fire alarm and security/alarm systems.


Brett has managed security teams as large as 30 guards for various event venues, catering halls, outdoor festivals/concerts, construction sites, residential buildings, retail stores, and various other locations. In his current role, he oversees a roster of over 200 security officers. He has been involved in the development and implementation of the security and safety plans at these locations as well as the hiring, training, and management of the security guard team. He draws heavily on this management experience in the everyday operation of his company. Brett has put together training for his team of Security Officers in a wide variety of settings and has worked with DHS and the DOD on a contract providing Security Officer Services.


Presently, Brett holds the title of Director of New Business Development, where he is responsible for the acquisition of new accounts as well as customer relations/quality assurance throughout the duration of the company’s contracts. He prides himself on accessibility and strong communication with the client every step of the way.
